Tryout Process

The tryout process aligns with KSYSA tryout guidelines and rules regarding the timing of registration, holding of tryouts, and making offers to existing or new players.

Annual fees will remain at $395 for the 2022-23 year.  This covers player registration and spring/fall Heartland League fees.

Annual fees can be paid in full when accepting a spot on a team or paid on a monthly installment plan for an additional $5 per installment.

New players will need to purchase a uniform kit.  The kit runs approximately $100.  Scholarship funds will not include uniform kit expenses.

If needed, you may apply for a financial need-based scholarship.  Please complete this scholarship application and email to [email protected].

Club Palmyra is a volunteer-based club.  This means our coaches are often soccer-minded parents who donate their time.  If you have an interest in coaching a team or you already have a team and are looking for a club please indicate your interest in coaching on the tryout registration form or reach out to the board at [email protected] and let us know!

Our goal at Club Palmyra is to extend the opportunity to play soccer to as many area youth as we possibly can, however, trying out for a competitive team does not guarantee placement to a team.  Coaches have the ultimate decision in the make-up of their rosters (i.e., the ability, number of players, positions of need, team chemistry, etc.)   The coach's decision is final.
